Remembering Jack Frost

I just found out yesterday, that Jack Frost (his picture to your left) passed away earlier this month, due to cancer. Jack Frost, who founded Shiloh Place Ministries, is one of my spiritual heroes. His teachings on "slavery and sonship" and the "Father's love" probably impacted, healed, and transformed my life more than any other messages I've heard in my walk with the Lord. So, in a sense, he was like a spiritual father to me, though I never got to see him in person, or meet him.

With his passing, I am now more stirred in my heart, and more committed, to spread the message of the Father's love, and sonship, to the rest of the world. I want to carry on His life message, and I believe that his death is a seed that will bear much fruit, to spring forth revival in the nations. Let the agape revolution begin!

To read more about Jack Frost, his family, and his ministry, you can click on the title link above, to access his website. Please continue to support their ministry, as Jack's wife, Trisha, is continuing on with the Shiloh Place ministry teams. Be sure to purchase Jack's books, cds, and dvds, as they are powerful, healing resources for life.

Farewell, Jack. I'll see you in heaven.

Sonics game pics!

Last Wednesday, Arnold, I, Jeremy, and Shawn had a chance to go see the Seattle Supersonics (NBA professional basketball) for free! So here are three pictures from that outing. The Sonics lost by 2 points to the Wizards on a final second shot by their star player Gilbert Arenas. Too bad. Nevertheless, it was a good game and an enjoyable time at Key Arena.

First Starbucks in Seattle!

I had a chance to visit the very first Starbucks store, here in Seattle, last Wednesday, with my friend Arnold. Here is a picture of me inside the store. It's definitely different from all the other Starbucks, with no place to sit down, and it has its original logo.

Arnold is here!

My friend Arnold from LA is here in Seattle this week to visit me. We go way back to our days at Stanford as underclassmen. Arnold is a deep intercessor and a man of God, so it is good to have him here! I'm showing him around town, and we are also spending some time in worship and prayer as well. Tonight, we're going to see the Seattle Supersonics (the local NBA professional basketball team) play the Washington Wizards. It'll be a fun time!

Rainy St. Patrick's Day

This past Saturday, I went to downtown Seattle to join my friend Kathleen and her team for street ministry! We gave out gospel tracks to the people going to see the parade, and prayed and prophesied over people who were in need. It was a good time in the Lord, and the Holy Spirit touched many lives. However, it started raining pretty heavily after noon time, and we had to pack up earlier than we planned (we all got soaking wet!). But we were all rejoicing in Him, in that we were able to minister to the broken-hearted, if only for a short period of time. And we pray that God would draw more people to Him in these days, here in Seattle.

Redmond AG

Last Sunday I went to the Assembly of God church in Redmond, WA. It is a pretty cool church, and the head pastor there is Pastor Ranger from Australia, and he has a thick Australian accent. He sounds like Pastor Brian Houston of Hillsong Australia, in Sydney. You can check out their church website by clicking on the title link above.

Parents coming home today

Today, my parents will arrive home from China, after one month of intensive ministry. You can pray for their safe flight back into LA, and that they will have a good time of rest at home, to be refreshed by the Lord in this upcoming week.

Cynthia's Blog!

Recently, my friend Ailin told me that our friend Cynthia, who is currently living in Singapore, has a blog! I did not know that, and I was glad to attain this knowledge! Over the years, Cyn had helped me significantly in my spiritual walk, helping me draw near to the Father, and I really respect her as an incredible woman of God. You can check out her blog by clicking on the title link.

Looking for housing

I am planning to move out of my cousin Flo's house in April, because her parents-in-law's are coming to live with her and her husband, so I am searching for a new place to live around here. You can keep me in your prayers, that it will be a smooth transition, as I put my trust in the Lord, for His provision and guidance, to open up the new place where He would have me live. Yes Lord, have your way in my life!

"Amazing Grace" movie

If you haven't heard, the "Amazing Grace" movie is playing in theaters right now! It is mostly about the story of Wilberforce, who help ended slavery in Great Britain. For more information about the movie, just click on the title link to access its website. I am planning to go see it sometimes soon.

Jacob and Lily

A couple weeks ago, this 2-person band "Jacob and Lily" came to my church, the Seattle Vineyard, to lead worship at the Sunday meeting. They were great and flowed powerfully in the river of the Holy Spirit. You can check out their band by clicking on the title link!

Sarah Yang's new book!

My friend Sarah in Berkeley came out with her first book! It's called "The Exodus: from Slavery to Sonship." I've just finished reading it, and it's a great book! It's a personal account of Sarah's testimony, how the Lord rescued her from devil worship and set her free from a homosexual lifestyle, and how God is now leading her mightily to take His word and power to the nations. This book also tells of incredible miracles, signs and wonders, as well as deep, profound teachings from the Scriptures. Sarah's book is a must-read! Just click on the title link to access her website, and you can order the book from there. There is also a powerful video of Sarah's testimony on the website.

Phil Keaggy concert photos!

Last week I had the chance to attend a Phil Keaggy concert at Calvary Fellowship in Montlake, WA (which is just north of Seattle, WA). Phil Keaggy is a legendary guitarist who is respected in both Christian and secular circles. His career has spanned over 30 years, and he is still one of the best guitarist in the field. Though I've had a few of his CDs, I was still astonished when I heard him live for the first time, here at Calvary. That concert was one of the best I've been to, and it is amazing how his skills has not deteriorated due to age. I took several pictures (without flash) during the concert. I know how annoying it can be when you are playing through a difficult passage, and someone snaps a flash in your eyes. And because my digital camera does not have a "sports" mode, the pictures came out blurry, because Phil was moving his arms and fingers so fast. Still, I thought these pictures came out OK, because what I captured was the spirit of his performance, and you can sense the focus and exuberance in which he played the guitar. For more about Phil, you can check out his website at www.philkeaggy.com
