Found new Christian radio station

While I was driving my car yesterday, I stumbled unto 89.7, the Christian radio station based in Columbia, SC. I was glad that I had good enough reception, for Columbia is over an hour away from where I am in Charlotte. I think it is better than the Christian stations in Charlotte, 91.9 and 106.9.

On a more somber note, I learned that my grandmother passed away in Taiwan a couple days ago. I'll be flying with my family to Taiwan next weekend to attend the funeral. Keep us in prayer, if you can, for the Holy Spirit to be the comforter that He is to all of us. Thanks.

Chris Brunelle's website / prayer alert!

My housemate Chris, who is an amazing professional artist, has just launched his own website this week with his artworks on it. Spread the word! Hopefully we can direct lots of traffic to the site and help him prosper in his calling. Just click on the title link to access the website.

By the way, I'm back safely in Charlotte now, after the incident with my car. I had my transmission replaced and the car is functioning again. Praise the Lord!

Last night we went to the MorningStar spiritual warfare conference. They opened up all the night sessions for free. Francis Frangipane was the guest speaker there. I haven't heard him since a couple years ago in California. He seems to be a lot funnier now. He delivered an excellent message on our spiritual authority in Jesus Christ. If you haven't read his book The Three Battlegrounds, you should get yourself a copy. That book is a modern classic in the Kingdom.

Here is a prayer alert. There is this guy who murdered his girlfriend and has climbed up a tall construction crane in Atlanta. The police are trying to get him down safely, as he is contemplating suicide. Please pray for this guy to come down, and come to the Lord. Here is the link to that news story.

Brandon's Blog

My friend Brandon up in the Justice House of Prayer has a blog that tracks the activities going on with the Cause and Bound4Life. Being a member of their team, he has an inside perspective on what is happening, and what God is doing in their midst, regarding the issues of abortion, justice, etc. Click on the title link to check it out!

On another note, my car broke down yesterday around Raleigh, NC, after I send off my friend David at the airport there. My transmission is gone and they are replacing it, and I ended up staying at my uncle and aunt's house in Chapel Hill last night. I am praying that the car would be fixed by 4 pm today, so I can make it back to my Resurrection youth prayer class tonight at 7 pm in Charlotte. I'm shelling out more than a thousand dollars, but I know that the Lord is faithful to provide all the funding I need to live, day by day, week by week, and month by month. I am believing in Him for abundant blessings, even for a new car, as necessary. Thank you, Lord!

Please keep this situation in prayer for me. I really appreciate your prayer support!

Friend visiting

My friend David Byron is visiting me here in Charlotte this week. We first met at a prayer meeting at Stanford. We haven't seen each other in over a year, since I moved out of California. I get to show him around town, so he can check out MorningStar, Fire School, Harp and Bowl, etc.

Back from DC

I got back from Washington DC late last night. I was attending a Graham Cooke conference up in Maryland at Cornerstone Fellowship, located in Frederick. It was a wonderful experience. It was the first time I've heard Graham Cooke preach, and he did not disappoint. Thank God for the words that he brought to us, for they were life-giving and life-transforming.

Emergency Evacuation in DC

Earlier today, I was in front of the Supreme Court in Washington DC, praying with friends from the Justice House of Prayer, with the LIFE tape over my mouth in silent intercession, when we heard a series of loud sirens piercing the air. Before we could think, the security guards rushed out onto the streets and told all of us to evacuate the Capitol area as fast as possible. A stream of people started to jog towards the outskirts of the city, and we followed suit. Click on the title link to read the news article that explains the reason for this emergency evacuation.

The Cause headquarters down here by Charlotte

Last Monday I was invited to a dinner and prayer meeting with MorningStar, the Cause, and CHOP (Charlotte House of Prayer) folks down near Heritage International Ministries (HIM) by Fort Mill, SC (on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC).
The Cause (www.thecauseusa.com) has moved their office and headquarters down here right next to MorningStar. They still operate the JHOP (Justice House of Prayer) in DC, and they will be having different teams that travel back and forth between DC and NC/SC between the JHOP and HIM to do intercession and administration.
We are blessed to have the Cause people down here by Charlotte, because they are such fervent intercessors and lovers of Jesus Christ, that their presence here automatically raise the intercessory level in the city, and they are helping to pray through for revival here in Charlotte, in addition to praying for the end of abortion in America and the world, and other issues of justice and the kingdom of God.
Last Tuesday night a bunch of them (friends that I knew from DC) came out to the regular Harp and Bowl session at Cornerstone church in Pineville, and they worshipped and prayed with us radically. The Lord showed up and the River of God was flowing.
The meeting this past Monday was powerful as well. Lou Engle and his wife were present, along with Pastor Robin McMillan from MorningStar, Kirk Bennett of 7 Thunders from the Kansas City IHOP, and Greg Burnett and his wife from the CHOP. There were more MorningStar students present and we all had an awesome praying and worshipping in the Lord.

Regarding the abortion topic. I have posted excerpts from Rick Joyner's (head of MorningStar) writings on this subject at the Resource Page. You can go there to read it.
