Rising tension between Mainland China and Taiwan
As a Chinese American who was born in Taiwan, this issue between China and Taiwan has always been something that hits close to home. I have plenty of relatives and friends in Taiwan who are and will be affected by every political and military move. Nobody wants to see a military conflict. However, the communist government in China has just passed a law authorizing the use the military force for unification. Click on the title link to read the full news article.
