The first is a deer, the second is a beautiful waterfall, and the third is me at the "Road Closed" sign (we couldn't drive any further than that, since they are still restoring the segments of the road damaged by the epic storm last November). It was a fun trip!

I have been seeking to upgrade my Light Amp News Blog, as this site was built on the old Blogger platform. So I have created a new Light Amp News Blog site, with the current Blogger design tools, and I have to say that it is easier using the new platform. Though I love this old Blogspot site, I know I can't hold on to it forever. The new site, at lightampnews.blogspot.com, retains the same colors and style of this page, but the layout is a bit different. I hope it is cleaner (easier on the eyes) and simpler to read and navigate.

So, for the next month, I will be switching over to the new site, to see how it feels and how it flows. If everything works out, I will be staying there to blog. But if the new blog doesn't feel at home, I'll come back to blog back here. So I won't be shutting this page down completely yet (I won't delete it out of existence). You can still come back here and browse the old archives, and all the links on this page should still work. But I'm pretty excited about the potential of the new blog site!
